THF Park

Where we live shapes how we live—that’s why we invest in place-based philanthropy, creating spaces that bring people together, promote wellbeing, and strengthen community connections.

A Collaborative Vision:
Partnerships That Made THF Park Possible

THF Park became a reality through the power of partnership. The City of Denison, Gateway Village, and Texoma Community Foundation (formerly THF) came together with a shared vision: to create a dynamic outdoor space that would promote health, wellness, and community engagement.
The City of Denison provided essential infrastructure and long-term stewardship to ensure the park remains a sustainable and thriving space for residents.

Tom & Peggy Johnson (Gateway Village) contributed land and development support, recognizing the value of integrating green space into the fabric of the community.
Texoma Community Foundation invested in the vision, driving philanthropic support and community engagement to bring the project to life.

THF Park: A Model for Community Impact

Our first major place-based investment, THF Park, is a 66-acre outdoor space designed to promote health, wellness, and community engagement. This space is a gathering place where families connect, neighbors meet, and people of all ages can thrive.
We see THF Park as a model for future projects, proving that investing in shared spaces can transform a community’s quality of life. Reach out if you are interested in investing in place-based philanthropy partnerships.
